Writer Bio
Marc Beaudin is a poet, theatre artist and bookseller based in Livingston, Montana. He is the author of the poetry collections These Creatures of a Day and Life List as well as the road trip/hitchhiking memoir Vagabond Song: Neo-Haibun from the Peregrine Journals. He has released two albums of spoken word and jazz featuring members of the bands Morphine and the Northwoods Improvisers. His work is widely anthologized in publications dedicated to environmental and social justice, and has appeared in Orion, Cutthroat, Haiku Journal, Whitefish Review, Montana Quarterly, and Big Sky Journal, among others. Theatre Bio
Marc Beaudin has worked in theatre for nearly 30 years as a director, scenic designer, technical director and educator at venues ranging from unheated warehouses and art galleries to a 1000-seat, state-of-the-art symphony hall. He was a founding artistic director of Michigan’s renowned 303 Collective which created original works by Beaudin as well as boundary-pushing, politically charged productions of Macbeth, Fear & Misery of the 3rd Reich, and Frankenstein, Inc. Other directing favorites include The Exonerated, Amadeus, Proof, No Exit, and the Northwest premieres of Born with Teeth and Alice Invents a Little Game and Alice Always Wins. He has taught numerous workshops in acting, directing and lighting design. As an actor, Beaudin has appeared in plays by Shakespeare, Chekov, Lanford Wilson, Paula Vogel, David Ives, and several others. Visit CrowVoice.com for more.

Spoken Word Performance Bio
Marc Beaudin is a poet, theatre artist and performer based in Livingston, Montana. He has released two spoken word/jazz albums: From Coltrane to Coal Train: An Eco-Jazz Suite, featuring music by members of the internationally renowned “low-rock” band Morphine, and These Creatures of a Day, featuring music by Mike Johnston and Mike Gilmore of the acclaimed, experimental jazz collective the Northwoods Improvisers. He has performed his poetry with numerous jazz, blues and rock musicians, including Bill Payne (Little Feat), Billy Conway (Morphine), The Big Sky Jazz Trio, and the Northwoods Improvisors, and has shared stages with 60s legends Country Joe McDonald, Ed Sanders and John Sinclair. His poetry and other writing have been collected in several books, including the road trip/hitchhiking memoir Vagabond Song: Neo-Haibun from the Peregrine Journals.
